Economic Outlook 2025

The Danish-French Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to the 2025 edition of our breakfast conference on “Economic Outlook BNP Paribas”.

We are delighted to invite you to our annual traditional breakfast Economic Outlook presentation with William De Vijlder, Chief Economist at BNP Paribas from 2014 to 2024 and current Economic Adviser to the general management of BNP Paribas. This conference will be held on the 31st of January in the morning. 

William will present his insights on the Economic Outlook for 2025, providing valuable perspectives on the trends and challenges that lie ahead for businesses and the economy in 2025.

This event is particularly significant as it will be William’s final appearance at our breakfast series,which we started in 2017. With his upcoming retirement, we are honored to welcome him in Denmark one last time to share his expertise and reflections with us.

For those of you who don’t yet know William, here is a short presentation of him: William De Vijlder is a prominent economist known for his role as the Chief Economist at BNP Paribas, He provides insights and analysis on global economic trends, monetary policy, and financial markets. With extensive experience in the field, he has contributed to discussions on economic forecasts and strategies for businesses and investors. His expertise and perspectives are highly regarded in the financial community, making him a sought-after speaker at various economic forums and conferences.

This breakfast presentation will be organized in the new Grant Thornton office. Indeed Grant Thornton, one of the main partners, has moved offices only a few days ago to their new location in Nordhavn. Thanks a lot to them for welcoming us for this breakfast. 

The event is co-organized by the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce and the Benelux Business Club Scandinavia with the support of BNP Paribas and Grant Thornton.
