Schneider Electric is a global specialist in energy optimization. They promote digital transformation by integrating process and energy technologies, products, software and services that enable integrated management of buildings, data centers and infrastructure in homes and businesses. Schneider Electric stands behind the well-known brand Lauritz Knudsen, which is Denmark.

At Schneider Electric in Ringsted, SE primarily produce sockets and switches for the Nordic market and data connectors for the whole world. They have worked with lean for the past 20 years, and are the first in the Schneider Electric family to be certified as a "Smart Factory". This means that they use the latest digital solutions and have 200 skilled and dedicated employees working in the factory.

After discovering this smart factory, we will exchange about the challenge met by a company still producing in Denmark and what are the upcoming developments are for this factory. 

Practical information. 
Friday 15th of March
- Departure with private bus from Copenhagen at 8.30 
- Visit of the factory from 10.00 to 11.30
- Meeting with a lunch from 11.30 to 13.00
- Departure from Ringsted at 13.00
- Return to Copenhagen at 14.30 

The number of seats is limited. The visit is organised for the employees of our company members only.
