Economic Outlook 2022

For the 10th anniversary edition of the annual Economic Outlook BNP Paribas event, this year’s conference was organised by the Scandinavian-French Chambers of Commerce and the Benelux Business Club.

After a general introduction by the chairman of the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce Anders Torbøl, Mr Frédéric Rimoux, Chargé d’affaires ad interim at the French Embassy in Denmark, introduced the 2 French ambassadors:
- H.E. Mr Pierre-Mathieu DUHAMEL, French Ambassador to Norway, 
- H.E. Mr Etienne Le Harivel de Gonneville, French Ambassador to Sweden 
both provided a short presentation about the French Presidency of the Council of the EU for the coming six months.

After these introductions, William de Vijlder, Group Chief Economist at BNP Paribas shared his opinions and predictions for the 2022 economic forecasts, through a very insightful and detailed presentation. A big thanks to BNP Paribas and William for the very interesting presentation.
