Under the framework of the official theme of the day “Accelerate Action”, we have selected to focus on “Challenging genderbias – why are some professions still largely defined by gender?”

To address this topic, speakers from our network who work in professions with a skewed gender representation will talk about their experiences. Additionally, our external speaker will challenge our gender-bias and move us away from the binary. Purposefully, this event is meant to challenge our ideas of gender and assumptions of divisions of labour and skill. It is, however, also a forum for reflection and for unification rather than continued polarisation. 

Our speakers for this important and highly relevant day are:
