OPERATIONS COORDINATOR FULL TIME - FRENCH SPEAKING MARKET
Established in 1998, Vision of Scandinavia is a leading incoming agency specializing in leisure travel in Scandinavia, Iceland and the Baltic countries. We offer a wide variety of services and unique activities ranging from standard round-trips to tailor-made group programs, individual tours, winter tours, and city breaks.
At our Copenhagen office, we are currently looking for Operations Coordinators for the French speaking market.
About the position:
Your role will be achieving successful operations of groups. You will handle all aspects of travel operations including reservations, travel coordination and customer support. Together with your clients you will create unforgettable tours for their customers.
- Book and operate groups, in close cooperation with our suppliers. Communication with clients and preparing travel documents.
- To be in contact with the Tour Leader and support in case any adjustment during the tour and solve any problems.
- Maximize profit margins on tours and sell additional services whenever possible.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best possible rates, liaising with the contracting department when necessary.
- Monitor payments.
Required skills and Experience:
- Fluent in French and English both written and spoken.
- Preferably, at least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Tourism. Ability to work independently, and solve problems efficiently. Excellent communication, organized and detailed oriented. Service-oriented with strong multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing situations.
- Ability to think clearly in emergencies and ensure smooth tour operations in accordance with programs.
- Good computer skills.
