Financial Accountant at AFYX Therapeutics

You are an experienced and analytical Financial Accountant looking to play a key role in building a finance department? We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in a newly established position, working closely with our Head of Finance. You will be responsible for various accounting tasks in an international context while also contributing to the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and other IT functions across our Danish and international entities.

Responsibilities:

As a Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

· Bookkeeping & Reconciliations: Managing daily and monthly bookkeeping, as well as account reconciliations, to ensure accurate financial reporting.

· KPI Reporting: Preparing and developing KPI reports and analysis, providing financial insights into management together with the Head of Finance.

· Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC: Playing a key role in implementing and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC across our international entities, ensuring the system aligns with our financial processes.

· IT support: across functions and entities to secure compliance.

· Optimization of Financial Processes: Collaborating closely with the Head of Finance to document, optimize, and streamline accounting and financial processes for efficiency and quality.

· International Accounting Tasks: Supporting financial operations across Denmark, Norway, the UK, and other countries as we continue to expand.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

· Experience as a Financial Accountant: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an accounting function.

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC: Previous experience with Dynamics 365 BC or another ERP system is a plus, as you will be actively involved in system implementation. Key is also a strong understanding of IT and compliance.

· Strong Accounting Skills: Solid experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting.

· International Accounting Experience: Knowledge of multi-country accounting is an advantage.

· Fluent in Danish and English: Strong proficiency in both written and spoken Danish and English.
