Football tournament 2017
This year The Chamber of Commerce organised its second edition of the Danish-French football tournament at Right to Dream Park in Farum.
This tournament had an ensemble of 8 teams, all members of the Chamber of Commerce network:
- Saint Gobain
- Njord Law Firm
- Pernod Ricard
- FC Nordsjælland
- Copenhague Accueil
- Renault
- Chambre de Commerce Franco-Danoise
After an equable tournament, none of the teams had either lost or won all of its matches. The big winner was Njord Law Firm who beat FC Nordsjælland in the final. The third place was taken by Copenhague Acceuil.
After a sportive afternoon the participants gathered for an aperitif offered by Pernod Ricard before advancing to the stadium lounge for the dinner.
We owe a great thank you to Les Grands Chais de France for providing the wines for the evening, to Lactalis for letting us enjoy their cheeses and to Aqua d'Or for supplying water for the players.
Following the dinner the guests witnessed the sad defeat of France against Sweden during the qualification match for the World Cup 2018 in Russia. Despite the defeat the great atmosphere stayed intact.
A big thanks to Renault, being the official partner of the evening, for their support which allowed this tournament to be a succes.
