Learning expedition for the UNIC Master!
From the 12th-15th of November, the Danish-French Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of welcoming the UNIC Master of Paris-Panthéon-Assas University for their Copenhagen Learning Expedition.
We had planned a full programme for them within digitalisation and digital transformation, so they could learn about Denmark in terms of both public and private digitalisation.
The visit consisted of the following program:
Day 1:
On the first day, we arranged presentations about Denmark, both in numbers and intangible cultural aspects. Anouk Reynaud, Economic Department of the French Embassy in Denmark, Joëlle Laïk, Managing Director of Business France in Denmark, and Samuel Vaillant-Jørgensen, Director of the DFCC, thoroughly introduced Denmark. Additionally, Guillaume Lasnier, Country Manager Denmark at Groupe SEB and President of the French foreign trade advisors committee in DK, introduced Groupe SEB and the responsibilities of the French foreign trade advisors.
After a lunch break, the group visited the TechBBQ headquarters, where Andreas Marco Jensen, Head of Partnerships, and Amalie Holm Berre Eriksen, Partnership Success Manager, introduced them to TechBBQ and their extensive activities over the year as well as huge effort in scaling up their annual summit.
Day 2:
On the second day, Pauline Degallaix, Manager of the Digital Management Team Nordic & Baltic, and Thomas Clausen, Head of Digital Baltic & Nordic, introduced Saint-Gobain and their Nordic and Baltic digital strategy - and what that means in terms of preparation, structure, organisation and maturity in the digital market.
Afterwards, the group was welcomed by Gösta Schwarck, Senior Partner COO, at Scandinavian Digital, who presented their work on implementation of digital strategies and design automation for engineering projects. Afterwards, the group visited the Design Museum for a guided tour of their exhibition.
Day 3:
On the third day, Capgemini HQ received the group for a packed program including lunch, where John Fodeh, Vice President CSO & Head of Life Science & MedTech, and team presented case specific work and a thorough overview of their organisation here in Denmark.
Finally, Nicolaj Geller Christensen, CEO, presented Digital Hub Denmark and the public system of digitalisation, which rounded off the trip with comprehensive insight into Denmark as a digital nation.
Denmark and France have much to share and learn between each other, so we are always happy to organise these learning expeditions! Thank you very much to our members and network for receiving the group and for sharing their work and insight!
